Description

Handmade in Poland by the talented Jagoda  who is the only person who works at Woolberry Naturalnie. It means that each stage of Woolberry’s product making is carried out and provided by her, from searching the best materials, testing them, sewing, packing and contacting clients.

Jagoda uses merino wool fabrics produced in Poland, which are mulesing free. The other printed wool fabrics in her nappies (printed fabrics) are produced in other countries of Europe (Italy, the UK), and all are exceptionally soft and gentle.

Woolberry wool covers are designed to give as much freedom in movement as the child needs. Delicate elastics ensures a proper fit around legs preventing from leaks. The covers can be used for night, however, they are great for daytime because they are well fitted, not bulky and can be comfortably used under any clothes.

Wool is very hygienic and doesn't require any sanitising due to its self-cleaning properties. Wool covers give the best protection against moisture than any other reusable nappy. It just needs to be lanolised once every 5-6 weeks.

Woolberry wool covers don’t need lanolising before first use. To make sure of that please do a “water test” of your cover after washing and drying it. Splash some water on the inner side of wool cover. If water stays on the surface of the fabric for some time, you can skip lanolising and use the cover straight away.

 Size and composition

Composition: two layers of the highest quality merino wool fabric coming from mulesing free farms.

Waist and rise adjustment with snaps (4 rise snap settings including fully open) – nappy grows together with your child

Wide fit size M  -  fits children approx. from 7 to 14 kg (Please note that the fitting of a certain size of nappy cover depends on the figure of your child and the absorbency you use).

These covers have been revised since the initial launch of the medium size in the shop a few months ago.

This new design is a little bigger overall, it has wider wings and bum for better coverage, it’s wider through the crotch, it has a higher tummy panel and generally has a little more room to cover thicker flats.

How to use

Once your wool wrap is washed (Woolberry wraps don’t need lanolising before first use) simply pull up over your flat nappy fitted to baby and off you go. As long as the nappy is well boosted, and not completely sopping wet, then you should have no leaks.

Some people are put off wool due to the lanolising process, but if you know how to make a lasagne or make a frothy fancy coffee at home then we would suggest that you are equally capable of lanolising a beautiful wool cover! And we stock everything you need to do this in beautiful non sheepy smelling (lanolin comes from sheep wool) scents using the wool care products we stock.
