Description

Most disposable sanitary pads contain the same amount of plastic and two plastic bags!

Have a reusable plastic free period with handmade CSPs made from off cuts from the matching Pumpkin and Pickle Pull Up Covers

Pumpkin and Pickle cloth pads are soft, comfortable and easy to wear; with a popper fastening. Made from one layer of water-resistant PUL, a stay dry layer of fleece closest to your skin and a bamboo towelling core these cloth pads offer absorbency, without the bulk.

Regular size is suitable for medium flow days and has two layers of bamboo towelling at its core.

Outer: PUL 100% polyester with Polyurethane

Topper: Fleece 100% Polyester Fleece

Core: 90% Bamboo 10% Polyester

How to use and wash

Lay the pad with the black fleece facing your body.

Once used, you can store in a waterproof wet bag till you are ready to wash them. I tend to not store them any longer than two days. You can then put them on a rinse wash in your washing machine (rinse at 30/40 degrees) and then full wash on 40 or 60 with other clothes or nappies or to bulk out the wash. You can also do what I have seen described as a ‘shower stomp’ to rinse and then do a full wash. Dry naturally, they tend to dry reasonably quickly or tumble on low.

I like to store my pads in a pod in the bathroom as it makes them easier to find than inside a wet bag but either work.
